I was very disappointed in this product. I selected it as I am a beginner at German and I thought it would help. It describes the book as being a "course" book. In my view it is simply a list of words and phrases. The CDs would be useful for someone who knows some German and wants to listen to native speakers recite words and phrases - a good aid to pronunciation.
